Overview
Civil rights laws, regulations, case decisions, and guidance can evolve faster than policies and procedures can be updated. Are you confident that your policies are compliant, and that all components of your institution adhere consistently to these policies?
INCompliance consultants, well-versed in requirements and best practices, can assist you in assessing the alignment of your policies and procedures. We help identify existing practices, recommend necessary adjustments, and guide you toward compliance. Our services encompass policy reviews, "on the ground" procedural assessments, tabletop exercises, and template reviews. Additionally, we offer support in planning or refining your organization's response to allegations of discrimination and harassment of all types.

Audits
All educational institutions receiving federal funding must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Public school districts have additional requirements under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA or IDEIA). Are your current procedures compliant with federal law? Are your staff members following the procedures in a consistent manner? We offer review and audit services both for K-12 school districts.
Training
INCompliance offers training regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act. Applicable services may differ based on the needs of the educational entity.
Investigations
Not only do our experienced investigators regularly handle disability discrimination and harassment allegations, they are also well-versed in the procedural requirements of accommodating students and employees with disabilities. This experience enables our team to assist when there is a need to investigate an allegation of wrongdoing or disability discrimination.
