Overview
Claire is a skilled communicator and a respected leader who mentors young adults both within and outside her profession. With experience in mental health training, including trauma-informed best practices, she has a deep understanding and compassionate approach connecting with clients of all backgrounds. She has effectively handled civil rights and tort litigation cases for school entities in Kentucky and Ohio, including constitutional claims, disability rights claims, and employment matters. Claire has served as the first chair defense counsel in three successful jury trials and multiple administrative hearings before the Kentucky Department of Education. Additionally, she has acted as general counsel for several Kentucky school districts, providing guidance on employment matters, policies and procedures, and construction, finance, and tax issues. Claire's dedication to educational law is evident in her experience and accomplishments, having served on the board of multiple Kentucky educational organizations.
